Inspired by the recent moon mission Artemis II, this tiny painting depicts another historic moment for women with dreams of space: an incredible view for astronaut Tracy Caldwell Dyson aboard the International Space Station in 2010.  “Ex Astris” means “From the stars” and is reminiscent of the Starfleet motto “Ex astris, scientia” (“from the stars, knowledge”) in Star Trek.
